Social Media Assistant | Full Time

Birdcage Marketing is looking for a creative and highly motivated Social Media Assistant to join our expanding Social Media Team in our Mackay-based head office. As a Social Media Assistant, you will be supporting our Social Media Director and wider team manage clients social media presence. 

To be a successful social media assistant, you should be eager to learn, be passionate about social media, have excellent communication skills, work well both within a team and independently and be looking to further your career in marketing. On the job training will be provided.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Plan and develop content creation for social media posts, stories, reels/tik tok + Pinterest
  • Caption writing, graphic design and hashtag research
  • Develop and implement of social media strategy
  • Prepare, attend and assist during photoshoots
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Sked Social
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and best practices
  • Collaborate with Social Media, Design, Facebook + Google Ads team
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Natural way with words
  • Creative flare for design
  • Knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok + Pinterest
  • Eager to learn and keep on top of industry trends and innovations
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Team player
  • Certificate or Degree in Media Marketing, Communication or The Arts
  • Marketing agency not necessary however office/administration experience is preferred
  • Experience using Canva is preferred but not essential
  • Video/Photography skills is preferred but not essential

Project Manager | Full Time

Birdcage Marketing is looking for a creative and highly motivated Client Success Manager to join our expanding Team in our Mackay-based head office. 

Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage clients with multiple projects includes : scheduling, managing timeline/deadlines
  • Client’s main point of contact for all projects : fielding all questions, feedback, concerns, etc
  • Exceeding client expectations
  • Liaising with HOD to coordinate/manage client projects
  • Supporting Maddy with new proposals
  • Developing and implementing processes to streamline business + increase efficiency
  • Obtain feedback from all projects either through email, feedback form or zoom sessions
  • Developing case studies for website + socials

 

Qualities/Requirements:
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal + communication skills
  • Effectively manage a team of senior staff
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Leadership/Management skills
  • Marketing agency experience preferred alt. experience in either sales, management or administration
  • Certificate or Degree in Media Marketing, Communication or The Arts
